My name is Marcos Cervantes and I am a father, entreprenuer, brother, cousin, friend, coach and many other things from day to day and am truly thankful that I get to play so many roles. Being blessed is a word that comes to mind but it also means that I am priveleged with a responsibility. I am so truly lucky to talk about today a role which impacts my life on a daily basis - being an uncle. An uncle to my precious and beautiful niece, Adelaide. Words can't express how truly important she is to me.

Adelaide was diagnosed with infantile spasms a very unique and serious form of epilepsy.

I look at her and would do anything to see her smile and know that she is so loved. 

So........here goes my anything!!!

Please join me as I humbly try to raise awareness and funding to help, just a little bit, for CURE. A cause that is now near and dear to my heart.

I am doing this because I feel compelled, as a human, as a brother, as a father who would do anything for his children. I wanted my brother, Miguel and my sister, Kelly to know that they are not alone in this and that I could not sit idly by and watch from the sidelines. If you are an uncle like me, you, without hesitation, love your nieces and nephews like they were your own. 

Today let's love and give all of ourselves because the people around us, who love us, deserve us at our best. I believe our brightest lights shine when we are of service.
